Workshop // Sewn Boards Binding
Description
In this workshop, we’ll explore Gary Frost’s elegant structure known as Sewn Boards Binding. This structure is quick to assemble and can be covered in a variety of ways with a range of materials. Each model will build on the last using materials such as bookcloth, vellum and decorative papers for the covers. The structure opens flat or with very little restriction, making it the perfect option for photographers and printmakers, as well as journals or notebooks.
This workshop will be live instruction through Zoom. Open to students at any skill level, but please contact me if you have questions determining if this workshop is right for you.
