Bound as a single signature binding. Covered in brown goatskin. Sewn on a stub of handmade Katie MacGregor paper. Leather wrapped endbands in Amandine buffalo skin. Paste paper flyleaves by Deena Schnitman and Katie MacGregor handmade paper endpapers. Design blind tooled with a line palette. Title hand tooled in Centaur with gold leaf.
Housed in a 4-flap enclosure.

Artist Statement
The nyatiti is an 8-stringed plucked lyre native to Kenya and was inspiration for the composer who wrote Three Nyatitis. To create a simple design, eight blind tooled lines were tooled in a manner that represents the layout of the strings on the nyatiti.
