Artist Statement
Highly inspired by the celebrated work of Edgar Mansfield, curves and shapes were stripped from a handful of the beautifully drawn letters of the text's alphabet. These elements were translated through a series of onlays and blind tooled lines. Dashes and dots were pulled from Barry Moser's detailed wood engravings.
