Thakoon takes the cake in their Pre-Spring 2013 collection; inspired by frosting and sorbet colors like pistachio, mint and bubble gum pink. Mixing little kick skirts, mixed-media tops and cinch-waist dresses with intricate fabrics and a few floral prints; basket-weave linen with candy-colored stripes and textured jacquarded organza. The angular shape of the V-necks and backs on top of the diamond motifs cut through the sweet offering a bit contrast to these feminine garments.

Think vacationing in the sun with your cool older sister; her hair pulled up in a sloppy, sexy up-do, smacking on her bubblegum and bouncing her hips in boredom. This collection combines sexy 50’s silhouettes with spunky, youthful colors and patterns layering knits, sheers, laces and silks to create a comfy yet flirty look.
